FEATURED MUSIC: HOLOGRAM

hologram-smallHologram are (unfortunately, were) one of the most brilliant and consistent shining gems in recent memory. Do yourself a favour and seek out whatever you can from them, their total oeuvre is probably under 20 tracks, but its astounding in its beauty and clarity of vision.

“Hologram are unassuming. They’re not operating with any gimmicks or tricks or showy selling points. I’m trying to say: they’re not interesting. But they are amazing. Simply, with few instruments and little inhibitions, reservations, they have burst onto the scene, meaning my scene, meaning my heart.”

Just finished watching all 6 episodes.
Guys this is fascinating, we need more.
But at the same time where did find the budget to make something this pleasing.
I loved the brutal frankness in Bernard’s eyes and how Les fucked up almost everything.
Wish you guys all the best.
Hope we see more episodes sometimes soon, for now let’s stick to Said the Gramophone!

  10. Denis says:

Absolutely brilliant, every single episode is worth watching and I sincerely hope there are more to come. You guys are way better than some of the big budget TV crap that’s out there right now (and on a much lower budget I’m sure). Kudos!

Amazing! I am so excited that this is Canadian! And from Montreal, no less! This is up there with the British Office, Arrested Development and Flight of the Conchords for me. You guys do us proud!

If anyone from the government reads these comments – please fund the shit out of this! This definitely represents what is best about Canadian humour: wry, clever, dark, irreverent and self-mocking. Such excellence should be rewarded and supported!
