Love these characters, and the writing. The ending of this episode was quite dour though, compared to previous episodes. I guess the loose ends will be tied up in two weeks.
Ah, sweet intercutting with Die Hard at the end — truly inspired.
I hope we’ll get to see more of Bernard’s boss in the future — his line delivery really made me laugh. Awesome. And I liked the ending!

Well we have been waiting to see this episode and it didn’t disappoint. Love the pacing of the action and scene changes. And even though Bernard finally came close to a little satisfaction, I am beginning to feel really sorry for him – he can’t win! I guess he got one in with the essay last time. Bravo! Keep them coming.

I love the subtle “The Office UK” style of humor on this show. It’s WAY FUNNIER than about 90% of the alleged comedies the CBC shoves down the throats of Canadians. My only request is that we get more scenes with Eden! She’s my favorite character. Every scene between her and Bernard make me laugh out loud. Keep up the good work guys.
A week ago I discovered Sunset Rubdown ‘Us ones in between” (unofficial video) which I loved and which led me to http://www.saidthegramophone.com which led me to “The Bitter End” which is GREAT comedy. Love it.

My favourite of the episodes so far. I always like seeing Adam Thompson randomly at parties, and it’s funny that he shows up in this one. Die Hard is undeniably one of the greatest movies ever made, especially the criterion edition. Nice work Etan.
Eden’s perfection is a great foil for the totally lovable but totally flawed Bernard and Les. I’m afraid that once we get to know her, or more precisely, once she gets to know them, we’ll see a different girl. Don’t know how I’ll feel about that?
